Replacement carbon brushes for the Makita 9556HN, sold as a pair. Carbon brushes are the small carbon blocks that carry current into the motor's armature; they wear shorter with use and should be replaced together. These are the auto-stop type: when a brush wears down to its limit it cuts the power and the motor stops, which protects the armature from damage by a worn-out brush. The pack is printed with both codes, CB-325/CB-329, and the brushes are stamped 329, so they are easy to match against the old ones in your tool.
